Reflection – Anna Byrne DC

Jesus remember Me
God, help me always to remember that you love every one of us, no matter what we have done. Your Son was given the death penalty, even though he was innocent. I pray for everyone who has been falsely accused and convicted. I pray also for all those who have been sentenced to death. No matter what they have done, they are still your children. Your love knows no bounds. Remind me of that when my heart is too small and judgemental. Luke 23:39-43

Loving God, you dwell deep in my soul. Open me inward to you and outward to those I encounter today. Keep me aware of your presence and power in me. Help me infect everyone I meet today with freedom and joy. Lord that I may experience you love of me today.

God of forgiveness, most of the days of my life. I have asked you to forgive my trespasses against you, but only insofar as I forgive those who trespass against me. Remind me of my need to be forgiven and to forgive. Amen

Good Lord -accept this day as the best I could return for what you have given me. Forgive my slips along the way and remind me to begin to sort them out tomorrow. Until then, I will leave the world in peace to you for a while, to sleep, to heal myself and to wake to serve you yet again. Amen.
